A Fayetteville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident at Huntsville Saturday.
According to a preliminary report, John L. Ermann, 74, was westbound on Arkansas Highway 17 when the Honda Trike motorcycle he was riding left the roadway while negotiating a curve. Ermann overcorrected, causing the bike to spin sideways and overturn.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and according to the report, was wearing a helmet.
The accident was reported at 2:27 p.m. and the death was the 24th so far this year on the state’s highways.
