Pine Bluff QB Landon Holcomb has been named the Week Eight Kevin Bonnette State Farm Deltaplex Player of the Week after a fantastic performance last week in the Zebra’s win over White Hall.
Holcomb spoke with Deltaplex News to give his thoughts on what it means to him to earn the award.
Holcomb said that new head coach Michael Williams has helped to change a lot of things with the team.
He also spoke about the different type of workouts the Z’s are doing this year.
The Z’s will take on Morrilton this week, and Holcomb said he believes a solid running game is a key to victory.
Holcomb finished by saying that this year’s team is playing for the Seniors.
