Young Thug and Gunna are among over two dozen people charged in a 56-count grand jury indictment on Monday.

Young Thug, born Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was booked and is currently at Georgia’s Fulton County Jail after being arrested at his home in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood. He’s being held on felony charges of conspiracy to violate the racketeer influence and corrupt organizations act (RICO), as well as participation in street gang activity, according to jail records. The charges date back to 2013 and 2018, respectively.

Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel told local ABC affiliate WSB, “Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever and we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.”

Young Thug is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. ET.

According to WSB, Gunna, born Sergio Kitchens, faces one count of violating the RICO act. It was not immediately known if he’s been arrested.

In total, 28 people are included on the indictment, the counts of which include conspiracy to violate the RICO Act, murder, armed robbery, and participation in criminal street gang activity.  All of the people named in the indictment are members and associates of Young Slime Life, or “YSL,” which is described in the indictment as “a criminal street gang that started in late 2012” in Atlanta and which “claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang,” WSB reports.

Young Thug is allegedly one of three founders of YSL. He’s also the founder of YSL Records.
