According to Pine Bluff Police Department Public Information Officer David DeFoor, Lieutenant Ralph Isaac has been released from the hospital after being wounded in a shooting that took the life of Detective Kevin Collins on Monday.

“He was released from the hospital a little over an hour ago,” said DeFoor. “He is with family, doing well, and is expected to fully recover.”

19-year-old Keshone Quanterious Smith of Pine Bluff has been booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center on charges of Capital Murder for killing Collins.

Smith is also wanted for murder in Conyers, Georgia as well.

Pine Bluff Police Chief Kelvin Sergeant confirmed Smith was involved in Monday’s shooting after his mugshot was uploaded to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office jail log Monday night.

Other suspects will be named later.
