Pine Bluff, Ar Jan 23, 2019
At about 12:30 a.m this morning. officers were called to the intersection of 24th Ave and Linden Streets in reference to a report of shots fired and someone lying in the street. When they arrived they found a woman who was dead at the scene lying in the westbound lane of 24th Avenue. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine cause and manner of death.
The investigation is in the early stages and little information can be released at this time. Police are aware of this person’s identity but are withholding that information until their family is notified.
