A 48-year-old woman was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident on Camden Road.

Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley identified the victim as Monica Hildreth.  She was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Ti’Ran Compton at 9:53am.  Kelley said the body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory at Little Rock for an autopsy.

Officers arrived on scene and found a white Ford F250 and a gold Chevy Equinox on the side of the road, according to a Pine Bluff Police Department news release.

The Ford F250 was not occupied at the time of impact, the news release said.

The accident is still under investigation.
