An Oak Grove woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident in rural Chicot County Thursday.
According to a preliminary report, Lakisha S. Phillips, 33, was northbound on Arkansas Highway 159 when the 2008 Chevrolet Impala she was driving crossed the center line into the southbound lane in a right-hand curve, then traveled back i9nto the northbound lane while rotating in a clockwise direction.
The vehicle left the roadway into a ditch, then overturned on its top.
Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death was the 305th so far th8is year on the state’s highways.
