A traffic stop by White Hall Police Frida afternoon resulted in the arrest of a woman on drug-related charges.

Gloria Acklin was taken into custody after police stopped a vehicle she was driving in the area of Dollarway Road and Chipmunk Street.

Reading from an affidavit from White Hall Police Maj. Mickey Buffkin, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said the license plate on the vehicle Acklin was driving did not return to that vehicle.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Acklin after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carson said Acklin has a prior conviction from 1994 and she was told to come back to court on Jan. 5.
