A Jefferson County woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly shot the back window out of a vehicle belonging to her grandmother.

Kedee Lynn Vick, 19, was taken into custody after she fled the scene at high speed in a second vehicle, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said during a probable cause hearing Monday.

Sheriff’s Lt. Kaylon McDaniel interviewed the grandmother and Kizer told the court what the grandmother said.

According to the affidavit, a 9mm handgun was found in the vehicle Vick was driving and a 9mm shell casing was found in the vehicle.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Vick after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with aggravated assault on a family or household member. Vick was ordered to have no contact with the grandmother until the case is settled.
