WHSD Superintendent Doug Dorris talks school security and COVID-19

Outgoing White Hall School District Superintendent Doug Dorris on Thursday talked about school security when he and new School District Athletic Director Mark Cantwell paid a visit to the Oldies 1013 morning show.

He went on to talk about the district a change in the location of school resource officers’ offices on each campus.

Dorris said school security has been a big issue all around the country and was asked if the district was also using metal detectors.

Dorris will be retiring at the end of June and also talked about running the district during the COVID pandemic.

He then went on to say this.
