White Hall’s Jace Johnson signed to play collegiate baseball for the Arkansas Baptist Buffalo’s earlier this week.
Johnson, who plays multiple positions (2B, SS, 3B, P) had a solid year in 2024, hitting .295 with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 24 hits, 7 hit by pitches, 18 RBI’s, and 9 stolen bases.
His fielding percentage was an impressive .899.
He also pitched 21.2 innings with 28 strikeouts, 9 walks and a 3.2 ERA as a closer/long relief guy.
White Hall head coach Ryan Bridges tells Deltaplex News that Johnson’s best game as a Bulldog came in a 9-3 win over Hot Springs Lakeside where he hit a single and 2 doubles with 2 RBI’s, then pitched 5 innings with 8 strikeouts.
