A small group of students at White Hall Middle School were sent home Monday after possibly being exposed to COVID-19.

White Hall School District Superintendent Doug Dorris said the students had attended a birthday party Sunday and one of them tested positive for COVID-19 Monday. Following protocol developed by the State Departments of Education and Health, Dorris said the students who had attended the party were sent home for 14 days.

He said those students will be able to take classes virtually while at home and if they turn in their work, will not be charged with missing any days of school.
