During the White Hall School District’s recent board meeting,  a vaccine clinic to be held on Thursday, August 12, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm was discussed. This clinic was originally for teachers and students receiving their second vaccine shots but is now also open for those who need their for shot. The clinic will be held at the White Hall Middle School and the vaccines are administered by Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Superintendent Doug Dorris added teacher’s incentives have risen from $200 to $500 and there are also incentives for students with proof of vaccination.

Participants in the incentive program are required to show proof of  vaccination to the district by 8:30am on September 3rd.

The White Hall School District has a total of 3,000 students enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year and have put a precaution plan in place mandating masks be worn on all campuses for 60 days. After those 60 days are complete in October 2021, the board will consider other options.
