The White Hall School Board voted to purchase 17.6 acres of land that is south of the current White Hall High School for $275,000, plus closing costs.
White Hall Superintendent Gary Williams spoke with Deltaplex News to describe where the land is.
There are currently no plans in place for the land, but Williams shared why the District decided to make the purchase.
In other news, the Board voted to hire Wanda Leanne Hitt as District Special Education Administrative Assistant effective December 2.
