The White Hall Police Department is issuing this warning to the public that counterfeit bills are circulating in the area.
On first appearance, the bills appear genuine.
Some indicators these bills are counterfeit:
Top: “For Motion Picture Use Only”
“COPY” at the Federal Reserve and Treasury seals
Bottom; “Rozetta” instead of the President’s name.
A person attempted to use these bills for payment at a local business. The person alleged that they received the bills from a person they met when selling something on Facebook Marketplace.
