The new superintendent of the White Hall School District said Tuesday that he took a different path to his current position.

Gary Williams, who was the Superintendent of the Crossett School District for 7 years, will assume his new duties, replacing current superintendent Doug Dorris, who is retiring at the end of this month.

Williams and Doris were guests on the Oldies 1013 morning show Tuesday and Williams explained what he meant by ‘different path.”

He was asked what led him to the White Hall District and answered this way.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Williams what are some of the things he wants to accomplish when he takes over and Williams said this.
