WEEVILS TABBED EIGHTH IN GAC PRESEASON POLL

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Monticello men’s golf team was picked to finish eighth in the Great American Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the league office announced Thursday.

The Weevils return six members from a season ago including seniors Julian Audibert and Tyler Garrigus, junior Andrew Pearson, and sophomores TJ BakerEthan Bearden, and Carson Garner.

New Head Coach Ken Hamilton is joined by five newcomers with sophomore Chase Gedak and freshmen Sean CraigHarrison MayGrant Mohesky and Owen Page.

UAM tees off to begin its fall season at the Great American Conference Preview tournament in Oklahoma City, Okla. hosted by Southern Nazarene University at the Lake Hefner North Golf Course Sept. 13-14.

Next, the Weevils will visit Cleveland, Miss. for the 30th Derrall Foreman Intercolegiate Invitational hosted by Delta State University at the Cleveland Country Club Sept. 20-21.

UAM makes an in-state trip to compete in the Battle for the Belt hosted by Henderson State University in Hot Springs, Ark. Oct. 4-5 at the Hot Springs Country Club – Arlington Course.

The Weevils wrap up the fall season at the 6th Annual Ranger Fall Invite hosted by Northwestern Oklahama State University at the Meadowlake Golf Course in Enid, Okla. Oct. 18-19.
