Weevils All-American Tight End Invited to Dolphins Rookie Camp

Boll Weevil tight end DeAndre Washington will be heading to Florida to attend the Dolphins NFL Rookie Camp held May 13-15. Miami has shown interest in the Shreveport, Louisiana native and invited him to mini camp.
Washington was a First Team All-American tight end in 2018, a Second Team selection in 2019, while garnering Honorable Mention Honors last season. He amassed 1,809 yards on 114 receptions with 19 touchdowns in only three seasons in a Weevils jersey.
