Watson Chapel Wildcat seniors Antwon Emsweller Jr. and Christopher Fountain signed their National Letters of intent yesterday in front of family, administrators, and friends to play collegiate basketball.

Antwon Emsweller Jr. will take his talents to Ft. Worth, Texas to play for the Weatherford College Coyotes in the fall. The 6’7 205 pound power forward will look to make immediate impact for the Coyotes, after helping lead his team to the 4A state playoffs for the second consecutive season. When asked about the decision to choose Weatherford, Emsweller responded, “…basically the role they have for me, being what I was to this team (Watson Chapel), I was looking for that same role and they told me all the things I wanted to hear.”

Christopher Fountain will be heading to southern Arkansas where he will attend and play for the Southern Arkansas Technical University Rockets in the fall. “It was the environment when I went up there…” said Fountain when asked about his collegiate choice. “…just the way they talked to me, they came in supported me and everything, it just felt nice. It felt like home…” The 6’5 small forward plans to play two years with SAU Tech, before transferring to a Division 1 program.
