Watson Chapel junior running back Durran Cain has been named the Week Three Kevin Bonnette State Farm Jefferson County Player of the Week for Week Three.
Cain spoke about earning the award.
“I just love this, and I appreciate my team for helping me a lot,” said Cain. “I’m thankful for all of the support.”
Cain received the honor after a solid performance against Hot Springs Lakeside and a fan vote on DeltaplexNews.com. He spoke about his performance against the Rams.
“I think I did okay, but it wasn’t really my best performance,” said Cain.
The Wildcats will travel to Camden Fairview this Friday night. Cain gave his thoughts on what he and his team will have to do to earn a victory.
“We just have to play good, and play as a team,” said Cain. “We pretty much know what we have to do. We just have to make the plays and we will do what we have to do.”
