Watson Chapel WR/DB Daniel Nelson has been named the Week 10 Kevin Bonnette State Farm Player of the Week following a solid performance in last week’s game.
Nelson gave his thoughts on being named Player of the Week.
“I’m just very thankful,” said Nelson. “This has been a hard season this year, but I’m very thankful for this honor. I’ll always be grateful for the games that we’ve played.”
The Wildcats will play their final game of the season tonight, and Nelson gave his goals for the offseason.
“I just want to get stronger and faster, and build out team,” he said. “I want to work to get scholarships. Academic scholarships, actually.”
