Water pressure issues that plagued Jefferson Regional Hospital since last week have improved and the hospital is back to admitting patients, according to spokeswoman Wendy Talbot.

Speaking to Deltaplex News, Talbot said there were 138 patients being treated as of Thursday morning, which is up from the 109 that Talbot said were in the hospital earlier in the week. Even with the improvement, she said hospital staff are continuing to monitor the situation.

Talbot said several vaccination clinics are scheduled, to include clinics at the White Hall Community Center on March 3 and 5, and said the hospital is looking at other locations in Southeast Arkansas for people who can’t travel as far as Pine Bluff.
