A trailer for the third installment of the True To the Game series has been released.

Officially titled True To the Game 3, the new film will hit theaters nationwide on Friday, December 3. Based on the original New York Times bestseller by Teri Woods, the romantic drama will pick up right where True 2 left off. It will follow Gena’s discovery that her “mysterious savior” is actually Quadir, a man whom she loved, but thought was dead. True To the Game 3 stars Columbus Short, Vivica A. Fox, Erica Peeples, NiatiaLil Mama” Kirkland, Kris Lofton, Jeremy Meeks, Iyana Halley, Darius McCrary and Starletta DuPois.

In other news, Jonathan Majors is staying booked and busy. According to Deadline, The Harder They Fall actor is set to star in Magazine Dreams, a bodybuilding drama from Elijah Bynum. Written and directed by Bynum, the film follows “an amateur bodybuilder who struggles to find human connection in the exploration of celebrity and violence.” Majors will also serve as an executive producer on the project via his Tall Street Productions. A release date for Magazine Dreams has not been announced.

Finally, BET has given a fourth season renewal to Tyler Perry’s Sistas. The one-hour drama, starring KJ Smith, Mignon, Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown, follows a group of single Black females as they navigate their “complicated love life,” careers and friendship while navigating the modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Along with the renewal, the network also set a premiere date for The Tyler Perry Show: The Sistas After-Show Edition‘s second conversation special. It will air Wednesday, December 22 at 10 p.m. ET on BET and BET Her.
