Pine Bluff Mayor Shirley Washington opened a warming center for the community earlier this week to help keep people warm that may have lost power or are without shelter. That warming center lasted until 8 am Friday, and Washington joined the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and spoke about the opportunity house that would help for emergencies similar to those that occurred earlier this week.

She was asked what the opportunity house was and she explained more.

Washington was asked about her thoughts on the progress being made to keep the power on and the streets cleared to get the city back to normal operations. She responded this way.

She went on to caution residents.
