Ward One recently lost its main grocery store, Super One Foods which recently closed at the end of 2022, and the community in that area now has to commute to other parts of the city for their groceries.
Ward One Council Member LaTisha Brunson joined Talk Back Live with Host Floyd Donald and she was asked about how losing that grocery story affected her ward.
Donald then asked Brunson about her plans to help her ward have a voice and she further explained more.
She went on to say this.
