Because recent rains have put the host site under water, the Walk in the Woods program on forest management is being postponed until Friday, November 9, 2018.  Walk in the Woods was originally set for Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Jolly Tree Farm near Danville.

Landowner Pamela Jolly will lead the tour, according to a news release from the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

“Her passion for forestry runs deep as she is an active member of both the Women Owning Woodlands program and the Arkansas Forestry Association,” according to the release.

The Walk in the Woods program is an opportunity to walk through a privately owned forest with the landowner to learn what they’re doing with their land and why.  Walk in the Woods is a part of the Women Owning Woodlands program and this is the second walkthrough of the program, according to the release.
