Victim in I530 crash identified

Arkansas State Police have released the identify of a woman killed in a one-vehicle traffic accident on I530 early Monday morning.

According to a preliminary report, Ingrid Rochelle Chism, 48, of Dermott was the driver of a 2000 Nissan that left the roadway and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on the roadside.

Two passengers in the car, Dominikue Lamont Harris, 32, of Little Rock and a minor whose name was not released and whose age was listed as unknown on the report were injured and  taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital and Arkansas Children’s Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

An early report that the minor was ejected  from the vehicle could not be confirmed by the preliminary report.

The accident was reported at 4:01 a.m. at the 28-mile-marker on the northbound side of the highway.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
