The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of investigating a homicide after officers were dispatched to 1203 Nebraska around 6:10 p.m. in reference to a possible shooting.
Once Officers were on scene, they found 45 year old Omar Amos unresponsive inside the residence. Amos was pronounced dead at the scene.
Amos’ cause of death had not been determined at the time of this release. Also at the time of this release, there was no suspect information or motive.
This is the city’s 15th homicide.
