UPDATE MONDAY 9:30 A.M.:
The victim in Sunday’s fatal accident at 31st and Cherry has been identified as 68-year-old Cheryl Rhodes from Pine Bluff. Rhodes was identified by Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley.
UPDATE SUNDAY 5:00 P.M.:
The Pine Bluff Police Department has released the following information:
Shortly after 1:00 p.m. a two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of 31st Avenue and Cherry Streets.
The collision occurred between A 2015 Dodge Charger traveling south on Cherry Street and a 2019 Ford Fusion that was traveling east on 31st Avenue.
The driver of the Fusion was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Charger were transported to a local hospital.
Their conditions are not known at this time.
The Traffic Division is investigating the crash but at this time speed is believed to be a factor.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of an investigation into a fatal accident at 31st and Cherry.
Few details are available at this time, but two vehicles are involved in the crash. At least one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
