Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Jason Duren was joined by Barbara Goodwin, the co-director of the Helping Hands group who talked about what was going on.
Goodwin told Morning Show host Greg Horne that Helping Hands has more than 150 volunteers who are age 55 and over and commit to working at least 4 hours a month.
She was asked to talk about some of the opportunities available for volunteers.
