The United Way of Southeast Arkansas will host a “Month of Caring” for the month of October.

Typically the United Way holds a “Day of Caring”, but Jason Duren said they believes the community needs more that just a day of caring this year.

“The United Way usually has a “Day of Caring” but we thought our community needs more than a day this year. We work to make sure every day is a “Day of Caring”,” said Duren. “The event is traditionally held in September but The United Way of Southeast Arkansas will hold a “Month of Caring” through October which is also United Way month.”

McFarland Eye Care of Pine Bluff and Little Rock has offered to provide FREE eye exams Sat, October 3rd.

There will be no insurance questions, no personal questions, and no payment questions.

The event is open to all ages and income levels.
