The annual fundraising drive for the United Way of Southeast Arkansas is underway and according to Jason Duren, the organization is on track to meet its goal.

Duren and Michelle Corbin, the disaster specialist manager for the American Red Cross appeared on the Oldies 101.3 morning show Thursday.

Corbin said her agency is there to support people and provide for their immediate needs when things like house fires occur, or natural disasters like the tornado in 2018, or the flood in 2019. She was asked specifically what the red cross did during the flood.

Duren also talked about the United Way and the money that goes to its 21 different partner agencies.
