On Wednesday, June 2nd, United Way of Southeast Arkansas spoke with Deltaplex News about the services they offer for the 10 counties that they serve in SEARK. Executive Director, Leslie Dorn was accompanied by Samatha Stickered who is with their partner organization Area Agency on aging in those counties including Jefferson County.
Stickered explained one of their main services, Meals On Wheels, to Deltaplex,
Stickered also said that participants receive one meal Monday through Friday in a normal week with exceptions for some that receive a week’s worth of food to store in their freezers. She added that United Way only offers these services to those ages 65 or older or those that are disabled.

After being asked what they also offer, Stickered mentioned The SEAT transportation services and their Home Healthcare services,
