UAPB Women Hoops Announces Summer Camps

Basketball Camp

PINE BLUFF, AR. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women’s basketball coach Dawn Thornton announced that the Lady Lions basketball team is set to host four camps in the summer of 2022 at the H.O. Clemmons Arena, sponsored by Gatorade.

The Lady Lions will host a Little Lion Camp on Friday, June 10, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for girls entering grades K-5. UAPB will host their second camp, Skillz and Drills Camp, June 11-12, for girls and boys, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (all ages/beginners). The Elite Camp will take place June 15-16 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for girls entering grades 9-12, college sophomores, and junior college student-athletes. UAPB will close out their final camp with the Team Shootout Camp on June 25, starting at 9 a.m., for grades 6-12 (three-games guarantee).

The campers will have the opportunity to work on skill and position work, receiving instructions from the Lady Lions coaching staff and coaches from surrounding areas.
