Pine Bluff, AR — High school and junior high school students have the chance to pitch their business ideas for a “Shark Tank” event hosted by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Department of Human Sciences. The contest will take place at Henderson-Young Hall Auditorium on the UAPB campus Thursday, December 5, at 10 a.m. The grand prize of $100 will be announced at the end of the event.

“We are very excited to see what inventive business ideas our youth will come up with,” Dr. Kimberly R. Haynie, assistant professor said. “Student entrepreneurs will have the chance to present their ideas and explain their business models to a panel of ‘sharks.’ This will be a fun and exciting educational experience, which is sure to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.”
