The UAPB Sports Network will officially launch on Saturday, August 31st as the Golden Lion football team plays an away game at TCU at 7 p.m. A new era in the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lion Athletics will begin this fall.
The UAPB Sports Network will include audio or video streaming of home games in volleyball, football, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, softball, and baseball in addition to coaches shows and other special events unless the broadcast is scheduled for national broadcast by the Southwestern Athletic Conference. This will all be featured on 99.3 The BEAT in Pine Bluff.

Pine Bluff is our home and our town, and we want to be Pine Bluff’s team. It was very important that we have an on-air home locally for Golden Lion Athletics. We are grateful that Deltaplex Radio saw and believed in the vision of our department and what we are striving to attain.”

KPBA FM 99.3 The Beat will be the primary home for Golden Lions Athletics on Deltaplex Radio, which reaches 14 counties in Southeast Arkansas. The agreement also includes year-round promotion of all UAPB Athletics teams and promotional giveaways by Deltaplex Radio.
