UAPB Soccer Freeman Tabbed As SWAC Offensive Player Of The Week For Second Consecutive Week

Pine Bluff, Ark.: The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff freshman Natalie Freeman has been named the SWAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.

Freeman registered her first career collegiate “haul” last Sunday evening against Jarvis Christian to lead UAPB to an 11-0 victory. Her goals came in the 53rd, 72nd, 74th, and 79th minutes.

Freeman was a significant contributor for the Lady Lions win over Jarvis Christian, finishing with a team-high four goals, five shots on goal, and two assists in a shutout victory for UAPB.

Freeman leads the SWAC conference in four categories, goals (7), shots (24), shots on goal (15), and points (5).

The Lady Lions will be back in action Sunday 19, at home as they take on Tulsa at 1 p.m.
