In the second half the Trojans increase their lead scoring two goals down the stretch in the 54th and 72nd minute to escape for their first road win of the season.

The Lady Lions were led by freshman Natalie Freeman who led the team with two shots  attempts in her college debute. Freshman goalkeeper Kailey Wehrmann made her debut leading the team with 11 saves.

“I feel really good after today’s game, even though we lost and came to the field expecting to win but giving the team that we competed against it was expected” said head coach Eric Solberg. “Three – zero on the scoreboard I think is fair but we learned a lot about our team, the character, the effort, and the energy was really good.”
