On Wednesday, August 11, the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees system passed a resolution requiring all system institutions to adopt policies regarding face coverings.

This includes the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff which announced Thursday the previous mask policy is now in effect for the 2021-2022 sessions. The policy requires faculty, staff, students, postdoctoral fellows, other trustees, guests, vendors, and visitors to wear a face mask in public areas regardless of vaccination status.

Affected public areas include classrooms, auditoriums, stadiums, hallways, stairwells, breakrooms, dining halls, fitness centers, lobbies, and shared workspaces.
