UAPB Men’s Tennis Team Drops A Non-Conference Decision To The Razorbacks

Fayetteville, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men’s tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to SEC foe Arkansas Razorbacks at Dills Indoor Court.

In the history of both programs, this is the first time that the Golden Lions and the Razorbacks faced each other in men’s tennis.

The Golden Lions was defeated in both singles and double rounds in non-conference play.  With a young Golden Lion team, each single match ended in straight set victories for the Razorbacks.

In the double match, Le’Darrien Ledbetter/Thomas Harris (UAPB) put up a game in the doubles but fell short 6-2 to Oscar Mesquida/Enrique Paya (ARK)

The Golden Lions will be back in conference play Friday, April 5th, when they travel to Lorman, MS. to face Alcorn St.
