UAPB MENS HOOPS WILLIAMS NAMED SECOND TEAM BOXTOROW ALL-AMERICAN

PINE BLUFF, AR – Tallying a lot of positives in the off-season, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff point guard Shawn Williams isn’t finished adding to his resume.

BOXTOROW announced that the point guard had been named Second Team All-American amongst HBCU hoopers.

Williams, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas will add to his list of being named SWAC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-SWAC and being nominated to play in the first-ever HBCU All-Star game during Final Four Weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana, which his stats do all the talking.

Williams led the Golden Lions in scoring with 16.6 points per game, making over 40 percent of his shots through the 2021-22 season and 3.4 assists per game.

With his remarkable season in a UAPB jersey, Williams is not done making history at Arkansas-Pine Bluff as he continues to put in the work to increase his high chances of playing basketball at the next level.
