AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff dropped its second game of the Las Vegas Invitational with a 92-60 loss against the University of Massachusetts.

-Senior guard Martaveous McKnight, the reigning SWAC Player of the Year, poured in a game-high 27 points on 9-of-20 shooting from the field, hit 8-of-11 free throws, dished out four assists and grabbed two rebounds
Trevor Banks chipped in with 13 points and four rebounds for the Golden Lions
-UAPB trailed 43-26 at the break
-The Golden Lions made just three 3-pointers in the contest (3-for-12)
-UAPB shot 39 percent from the field for the game
-UAPB”s bench was outscored 31-12
-The Golden Lions turned the ball over 18 times compared to 12 for UMass
-Massachusetts produced 22 assists as a team while UAPB finished with 11
-Shaun Moss added eight points for the Golden Lions
-Luwane Pipkins finished with a double-double for UMass with 10 rebounds and 11 assists
-As a team UAPB shot 15-for-20 from the charity stripe

UAPB (0-4) returns to action on Friday, November 23 as it travels to Little Rock to face California Baptist University in non-conference action. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. Below is a schedule of the mini-tournament held on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR.) All games will be held at the Jack Stephens Center.
