UAPB Cross Country Freeman, Xavier & Plummer Earn All-Conference Honors

Pine Bluff, AR – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff had three members of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team tabbed as All-Conference selecrions following the conclusion of the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship.

Fifth-year Baron Freeman, who earned All-SWAC Second Team honors a season ago, was named to the All-SWAC First Team after a third place finish in the men’s 8K with a time of 25:49.6.

Freshman Kris-Ann Plummer and Junior Tarik Xavier both earned All-SWAC Second Team honors for Women’s and Men’s Cross Country, respectively. Plummer finished 8th in the Women’s 5K with a time of 20:23.1. Xavier finished inside the top ten placing 9th with a time of 26:52.2.
