UAPB Baseball: Kacy Higgins Named to 2022 Preseason SWAC All-Conference Second-Team

Following his roaring 2021 calendar year on the diamond, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff outfielder Kacy Higgins has been named to the 2022 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) All-Conference Second Team, as announced by the outlet on Tuesday.

Higgins is a phenomenal student-athlete with bat speed who can cover ground anywhere in the outfield for the Golden Lions. He finished the season playing 25-33 games and ranked 10th in the SWAC Conference in batting average (.351/34hits/5doubles/12RBIs). Higgins was also ranked 13th in the conference in stolen base attempts (7-for-10) and was selected to the HBCU All-Star Team 2021 presented by Minority Prospect.
