UAPB Athletics Celebrates 36 Spring Student-Athletes Graduates During Spring 2021 Commencement

Class of 2021

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff awarded 36 student-athletes along with their fellow classmates as they walked across the stage and received their degrees for the spring 2021 this afternoon at the Simmons Bank Field.

“Today is truly “The Beginning of a New Day” as stated in our Athletics Creed, said UAPB interim Athletic Director Chris Robinson. “This is a new day for our 36 student athletes that received their degrees today. We are extremely proud of their resilience as they have endured through ups and downs that many of us have never seen before. They have proven that they have the “True Grit” to make it in life as this is our goal. Congratulations, you continue to make us proud!

A total of 22 student-athletes received academics honors, including six with summa cum laude, nine with magna cum laude, and seven with cum laude.
