UAPB completed their first Freshman Leadership Academy last month. The program was based on one of the world’s most respected leadership models, The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership.
Frank D. Dorsey II, Associate Dean Of Students for activities, joined Rick Walker on Sunrise Deltaplex and explained why the program was instituted.
The initial class included two valedictorians from the Pine Bluff area.
Dorsey was asked what specific problems were pinpointed and what solutions were outlined
Student Government Association President Leon Jones III and UAPB Senior Alexandria Slater were facilitators of the FLA. It will return for both the Fall and Spring semesters in 2022-2023.
