The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions officially released its 2022 football schedule Wednesday morning. The 11-games slate features four home games, six road games, and one neutral site game in St. Louis, MO.
Opening on Labor Day weekend, the Golden Lions will host Lane College on Sept 3, followed by North America University on Sept 10 at Simmons Bank Field.
The Golden Lions will hit the road against FBS opponent Oklahoma St. in Stillwater, OK. Sept 17, before opening up conference play with a pair of road games against Alcorn St. Sept 17 and Southern University Sept 24.
UAPB then returns home when it welcomes Texas Southern for Homecoming on Oct 8, before rebranding their footprint back in the “Show Me State” when they take on Alabama A&M on Oct 16 at the St. Louis River City HBCU Classic in St. Louis, MO.
After coming off a bye in week 8, the Golden Lions hit the road for two consecutive weeks as they take on Florida A&M on Oct 29 and Grambling St. Nov 5.
The Golden Lions will return home to take on Prairie View A&M for senior day on Nov 12, before closing out the season on the road against Alabama St. Nov.24 in the Turkey Day Classic in Montgomery, AL.
