MONTICELLO, Ark. — Helping small businesses increase their appeal to modern audiences is the goal of the “Modern Marketing” training series this fall, presented by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM).

The four-part series will be offered in a hybrid format with in-person and virtual participation options.

“You can join us here at UAM to watch the presentations, or you can join us online from anywhere,” said Aimee Weaver, director of the center. “We are thrilled to offer such high-quality training to local businesses at no cost. This is a great opportunity to learn from an expert.”

Presenter Deborah Deras is an international speaker, author, and marketing strategist who specializes in teaching small businesses how to grow their revenue through digital marketing. Based in Los Angeles, she started her own company, Synergy Unlimited, in 2002. Her workshops focus on how to increase traffic to your business and maximize sales and profits in the process.

Each 90-minute session will explore proven ways small businesses can attract and retain customers without breaking the bank. Go to asbtdc.org/uam-modern-marketing-series or click the links for full descriptions and to register.
