How to start a business in Arkansas will be the subject of a free seminar from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the community room of Simmons Bank at Lake Village.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will host the event, according to a news release.
The seminar will focus on essential business start-up steps, legal business structures, regulations and licensing, key issues that affect business success and common pitfalls faced by entrepreneurs.
