Chief Marshal David Dalrymple was on a routine patrol when he noticed a subject that matched the description of 30-year-old Wesley Gullett.

According to Lt. Todd Steffy with the Dover Marshal Office and the U.S. Marshals, the leader of a white supremacist group who escaped from the Jefferson County jail this week was captured Thursday morning in Dover. Gullett was walking down Highway 164 East in Dover and was taken into custody at gunpoint without incident. Deputy U.S. Marshal Kevin Sanders said that Gullett did not try to flee or resist arrest.
